The Rembrandt Geocoin was made in the honour of Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn, a Dutch master who lived in the Dutch Golden Age.

At the back of this geocoin we see a picture of his most famous painting The Militia Company of Captain Frans Banning Cocq, better known as The Night Watch.
